Are You Looking Down On Me?

Thursday, November 24, 2011

Haruko: Please don't look down on me.

はるこ:見くびらないでください。

Haruko: Mikubiranai de kudasai.

** Notes:
mikubiru - (v) means to look down on, to underrate, to belittle
-- when added with nai (with a transition from ru to ra - a rule one must know by heart), it now tends to negate its meaning -- hence, the term mikubiranai
kudasai - please
